Our card section is doing very well. We have Euchre on Friday’s at 1.00 pm.

We go to Suburban once a month for the Woods & Trounson Trophy and also go to Blenheim. Teams go to Nationals of Euchre and Crib and also South Island Euchre and Crib each year. It would be nice if any members who want to try Cards could come along and see how we play. 

If you are looking for more life skills, a fun way to make new friends and socialise then the Club Waimea Card section is for you. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or haven’t tried your hand at cards for a while, there are experienced members who can teach you how to further your interest in cards and learn the many different games. Cards is a low cost sport that is played in every Chartered Club in New Zealand and is a sport that can be enjoyed by everybody at any ability.
